A Day to Remember at Mall of Asia

It felt like just yesterday that I had an unforgettable, fun-filled day at the Mall of Asia.I still remember how it all started. Right after our Christmas party, my friends and I decided to go there. We were buzzing with excitement, talking nonstop about what we wanted to do. We rode the train from Sta. Lucia Mall all the way to Recto. Inside the train, we couldn’t stop laughing over the smallest things  like how one of us almost missed the ride because he was busy buying snacks, or how we all struggled to keep our balance every time the train moved too fast. Everyone was in such a great mood.

When we finally arrived, the first thing we saw was the giant Globe outside the mall. Of course, we took tons of pictures like typical tourists, trying out all kinds of funny poses. One of my friends even pretended to hold the Globe in his hands, as if it were tiny. The photo turned out hilarious, and we laughed so hard.

Inside, the mall looked massive and brightly lit. We wandered around, checking out store after store. Sometimes we’d stop just to laugh at silly mannequins or random items. At one point, we saw a kid almost slip while running with an ice cream, and we couldn’t help but giggle. The whole place was buzzing with life, like everyone there was living their own happy little moment.

Later, we headed to the seaside area. I still remember the scent of the ocean, the cool breeze, and the calming sound of the waves. There was some construction nearby, and we joked that they were probably building a secret underwater mall. As we walked up the stairs, I tripped a little  and that became the inside joke of the day, especially for me and Vhinz. We couldn’t stop laughing about it.

Eventually, we made our way to the arcades. We played games, cheered each other on, and tried (and failed) to win any prizes. But even losing was fun because we were laughing so much our cheeks hurt.

The highlight of the day? Riding the Eye Mo  the big Ferris wheel. The line was long, but we kept ourselves entertained by taking selfies, cracking jokes, and trying to guess how tall it was. When we finally got in, the view from the top was breathtaking. We couldn’t stop snapping photos. It was just one full turn, but it felt magical seeing the city lights sparkle below us.

By the time we got off, it was already night. We strolled a bit more along the seaside, grabbed some street food, laughed over our funny pictures, and talked about random things before heading home.

That day at the Mall of Asia wasn’t just a regular trip  it was a memory full of friendship, laughter, and joy that I’ll never forget. Every time I think about it, I can still hear our laughter and feel the happiness of that simple, beautiful day.

Cheena's Enchanted Birthday at Hong Kong Disneyland

If you’re planning a trip to Hong Kong and want to experience magic, laughter, and childhood dreams coming to life, then Hong Kong Disneyland is the place to be. It's where every corner sparkles with joy, and every ride brings out the kid in you. Here’s the story of how I celebrated my birthday at the happiest place on Earth!

Hey there, GoTravelMo fam! Here's a fresh story from one of the most magical places ever  welcome to Hong Kong Disneyland!

It was my birthday, and I spent it with my mom, titas, and titos. We left our hotel early, walked a lot, and saw so much. It was a bit tiring, but every step was worth it. The streets of Hong Kong were vibrant  filled with busy crowds, towering buildings, and an energy that made me feel even more excited.

The journey to Disneyland already felt like part of the adventure. We took the subway, and the train was Mickey Mouse-themed! It had Mickey-shaped windows, colorful seats, and little Disney statues along the way. It was so cute, I couldn’t stop smiling the entire ride.

When we arrived at Disneyland Station, it truly felt magical. Music played as we walked towards the entrance  just like in a Disney movie. A live band greeted us with happy songs, and suddenly, Mickey and Minnie Mouse appeared! They waved, danced, and posed with excited tourists. Seeing them in person made me feel like I had stepped right into a fairytale.

The park itself was beautiful. The streets were lined with colorful decorations, shops, and happy faces. And then I saw it  the Disney Castle, tall and sparkling in the sunlight. Of course, we took tons of photos because the view was just too magical to miss.

Later, we watched a show with Mickey and friends. They danced, sang, and even gave a shoutout to everyone celebrating their birthday including me! I felt so special hearing my birthday celebrated in such a magical place.

One of the most memorable parts of the day was watching The Lion King stage performance inside a big tent. The dancers were incredible  full of energy, vibrant costumes, and music that made you feel like you were part of the story. It was like a Disney version of The Greatest Showman.

After the show, we met Minnie Mouse, then ran into Princess Jasmine and took more pictures. My whole family joined in, and that photo became one of our favorites from the trip.

We also rode several attractions some calm and relaxing, others thrilling and full of excitement. Every ride brought laughs, screams, and unforgettable moments.

In the afternoon, there was another big performance near the castle. The music, dancing, fountains, and colorful lights made the whole area feel like it was having a party. They performed songs from Frozen, Coco, Zootopia, and more. Mickey and his friends joined too, and the entire show felt like a celebration of life and joy.

As night fell, the castle lit up in bright, colorful lights even more magical than before. We took our final group photos and, before leaving, my tito surprised me with a Forky toy from Toy Story 4. I carried it on my shoulder all the way back to the hotel.

It was a long, exhausting day  but every second was magical. Spending my birthday at Hong Kong Disneyland was a dream come true. It was full of laughter, joy, and memories I’ll cherish forever.
